lifes mysteries: disney mania

has anyone besides me, ever realized that NONE of the disney princesses ever have moms?
isnt that weird?
Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Pocahantus (yes recently, Pochanhatus was accepted as a Disney Princess!), even Snow White, all their Mom's died. then theres ariel, whose mom was never there, so we're not sure if she died or what.... and Sleeping Beauty puts her parents (and entire kingdom) to sleep for 100 years, so we know THAT relationship wasnt all that great.
still, i'm having trouble decided what the definite message that this send us is...
does it mean you can only be a princess without a mom, or that its a good thing their mom's died?

this truely must be one of lifes mysteries...
