Confessions of the Caffeinated Sprinkle Fairy

and i wore my james dean shirt too.

today i went into some serious retail therapy...
at the public library book sale.
heres the Julie Book Review for now...
cheers.

For my atheistic ways... i'm doing some research in why i should (or shouldnt) be an atheist:
- "Ruining it for Everybody" a memoir that says in bold on its back cover "whenever i hear the word, spiritual, i reach for my revolver."
and
-C.S. Lewis's "Surprised by Joy" (he wrote the narnia books, and a bunch more stuff) wich is about why he went from being a christian to an atheist back to christianity... the madness behind the reasoning.

for my other reading pleasures, i bought...
-"Modern English: a trendy slang dictionary" wich i couldnt resit for 50cents... it has a picture on the front of a girl with hancuffs in her pocket, and there are a bunch of arrows with explaining things. the hancuffs are titled "kinky sexual habits". the book is purple.
-"Crossing California" a novel about comming of age jewish in chicago in the 70s. sounds funny. its like 400 pages and has a glossary in the back of jewish references. yeah.
-"Great Photographic Essays from LIFE (magazine)" its big and shiny with a silver cover and was only $4. LIFE is good.
and
-"Norman Rockwell, a 60 year retrospective", because who doesnt love that guy?

so thats basically it...
well actually i got a lot more too, but i wont bother to tell you anymore. your probably bored shitless any way.

update on another new book i'm halfway thru...
"The Best of Everything".
is so good. a novel about being a new york city working girl in the 1950s. sounds boring but is really very interesting. deals with marriage ideas and ideals, sexual harrasment, everything.
yes, i am a certified freak, but you love me anyway.
i know you do.

so after book buying i hung out and read on a bench for about 4 hours.
then me and mom went to brentwood for chineese take out and it was great.

C.S. is very pro christian-- they teach a course of him in my school-my english teacher (the would-be priest-who decieded that he enjoyed sex too much) loves him. You could also read: Theism and Humanism by Arthur James Balfour. which influlanced Clive in his writings it is written by the the English prime minster that took over for Churchill. Enjoy your books!! PS-do you guys still have my GURL book i know laura stole it and i was wondering if you have it or if it is at Uncle Beth's house.

Love as always
