la fiesta stupenda!

well, the last guest has left, the final ballon popped, last sour strip eaten, all presents unwrapped, tissue paper all over the floor.... does this mean my party is over?
well, technically only if the last soda has been sipped... but that wont be for a while, since when we got home from dindin last night i forgot to put out the sodas in the family room, so 60 sodas are in my fridge. yes, 60 (*house rule, not more than 3 sodas a week). if you want any soda, please stop by, we have enough soda to keep an army caffeinated for a week.
well, since you (all my adoring fans, and lovers) want details of la fiesta stupenda, here goes:
everyone got to my house bout 5:30... left the house for California Pizza Kitchen at 6, and since they dont take reservations, asked for a table for 14 at 6:30... took a while to get a table, so we went shopping in the rest of the mall-ish place. the mall was one of those really snooty kind of places, where they have all the m.fredic's and MaxStudio's... so me, and 13 of my closest amigas, all dressed in our best costume jewelry, and masks i got at the 99 cent store and me wearing a pair of fake glasses with a big nose attached (complete with sticky-up eyebrows, AND NOSE HAIR) went into all the stores and looked at all the $300 dresses. whenever we touched one, the sales ladys had anurisms (as lyle says) and started clenching their teeth and muttering to themselves. it was quite a show.
had dinner, was delicious!
then we walked to coldstones with mis padres and my dad's collegaues from italy who are staying in our house for a week.
had yummy yummy icecream.... yes, even leah got one. after some blackmailing. and begging.
went home, watched movies, open presents (thank you guys so much, i love all the cool stuff i got! you are so good to me! ;-)


so around 3 am people started to sleep... but me, amy, natalie, and monica t stayed up (in the true birthday spirit) until almost 5... just before talia and monica j got up for soccer matches this morning!
yes, i've had no sleep for 24 hours, yes, i'm in a sugar coma...
tons of mess, even more presents... couldnt be happier.
