ever find it funny, that we can say something stupid like
"comment with your name, and i'll tell you how i really feel about you"
and everyone leaves a million comments.
"OMG, i so totally love you!" "your an amazing friend!" "you so unique and the coolest person i kno!"
everyone knows that everyone else is lying.
but what if i say something like,
"my grandmother hasnt gotten out of bed in almost 3 months. she's sick, and it can only go downhill"
what will i get?
a sigh,
an "omg! is she ok?",
maybe a "wow, that sucks"
i'm not even sure what i want you to say.
but what i'm saying is,
i'm leaving on friday for NY.
miss me or not.

it isn't possible to say anything other than that on a blog. it just doesn't work. you can't.
Instant messenger doesn't work either. too impersonal. but it tries.
you can't really say anything serious here, or there; too much randomness. randomness doesn't work for this kind of thing.
dammit.
does anybody else feel like an asshole for not being able to go w/ her?
